Coding with Eyes: Visual Feedback Unlocks Reliable GUI Code Generating and Debugging

The paper first curates 984 executable multi-page GUI development tasks from real Flathub desktop applications together with a programmable Interactive Evaluation Script (IES) to form InteractGUI Bench, then proposes VF-Coder, a three-agent framework in which an MLLM directly looks at and operates the running interface; it lifts Gemini-3-Flash from 21.68% to 28.29% task success rate and from 0.4284 to 0.5584 visual similarity.
