About¶
AI Paper Notes is an independent research-reading site for AI researchers, students, and engineers, maintained by zhaoyang. Notes are organized by conference and research area to explain the problem a paper addresses, why its method is designed that way, and the conditions under which its experimental findings hold.
The notes supplement the original papers. They are not substitutes for the full papers or official statements from their authors, conferences, research institutions, or publishers.
What the Notes Offer¶
A useful note should do more than restate an abstract. Our editorial goal is to connect motivation, method, experimental evidence, and limitations; explain how key design choices fit together; and distinguish reported findings from our interpretation. Links to original papers, code, and project pages help readers consult primary sources. Related work and cross-conference topic categories support further reading.
Depth varies across notes. An improvement in one experiment does not establish general superiority, and publication of a note does not mean that the maintainer has reproduced the model or independently verified every result.
Editorial Process and Accuracy¶
AI tools assist with drafting, organizing material, and maintaining the site. A shared glossary and automated checks support consistent terminology, formatting, and link organization. Automated checks do not establish factual correctness and are not equivalent to human review.
Editorial review and quality audits are ongoing. We do not claim that every published note has received line-by-line human verification. Equations, numbers, citations, venue assignments, and interpretations may contain errors. Consult the relevant version of the original paper, supplementary material, and author code before relying on a research claim, implementing a method, or citing a result formally.
Corrections should be grounded in verifiable primary sources. Please use the Contact Us page to report the note URL, the passage in question, and supporting evidence. Reports inform our checks, but we do not promise a fixed response time.
Chinese Site and English Edition¶
The Chinese site is at papernotes.org, and the English edition is at en.papernotes.org. Both share the same research-reading purpose. The English edition uses a shared terminology glossary, with ongoing editorial review and quality audits; this does not imply that every page has received the same level of review.
Coverage and update schedules may differ between editions. If two versions of a note disagree, consult the original paper and report the specific discrepancy.
Sources, Rights, and Reuse¶
Original papers, code, figures, and other third-party materials belong to their respective rights holders and remain subject to their own licenses. Citation or linking does not transfer ownership to this site or imply an author's endorsement of our interpretation.
Reuse terms for site-authored content are provided in the public project license. That license does not replace permission for third-party material. Public source snapshots and the website may be updated on different schedules; when citing a note, include its URL and your access date.
For attribution, citation, or permissions concerns, use the Contact Us page and identify the relevant material and rights information. Do not upload private documents to a public channel.
Editorial Independence¶
Advertisements and external commercial links are not endorsements of research findings, products, or services. Commercial relationships should not replace evidence, change experimental data, or conceal a method's limitations. Any sponsored content should be clearly identified as such.
The site is intended for academic learning and research reference, not medical, legal, investment, or other professional advice.
